3D-Printed Ceramics | How It Works

Additive manufacturing of technical ceramics combines 3D printing with established ceramic processes such as debinding and sintering.

First, a green part is produced layer by layer from a ceramic-filled material based on a digital design. In subsequent process steps, organic components are removed and the part is densified at high temperatures to achieve its final properties.
